About Dr. Ayyappa Pindi
Dr. Ayyappa Pindi is a meditation teacher, Santoor artist, certified sound healer, and author, with more than twenty-five years of Anapanasati practice in the lineage of Brahmarshi Patriji and the Pyramid Spiritual Societies Movement. In 2025, he was conferred an Honorary Doctorate in Yoga, Meditation and Social Service by the Asia International Culture Research University.
Ayyappa's working life began in software engineering, with leadership roles at companies including Siemens and Infosys, and later as Vice President at PyraMinds Consulting. Alongside that career ran a daily discipline of Anapanasati meditation. In 2018, the quieter path won: he left the corporate world to teach full time.
Today he is the founder of Aroha Space International Meditation Centre in Vajrahalli, Bengaluru — home to meditation teaching, sound healing in the Sonorium, and one-to-one counselling. He leads Soulful Tours and Retreats, taking seekers on meditation pilgrimages to the world's great sacred sites, including group meditations inside the King's Chamber of the Great Pyramid of Giza. He is the founder of 51Pyramids, and Managing Trustee of Pyramid World Foundation, a non-profit bringing free meditation to communities across Karnataka.
Through the Meditation Teacher Training Program (MTTP) Karnataka, he is training more than 1,000 new Anapanasati teachers across all 31 districts of the state. He is the author of MEDITATION — The Complete Guide to the Inward Journey (2026), hosts the bilingual podcast Open Up with Dr. Ayyappa Pindi, and teaches a community of over 80,000 subscribers on YouTube. He teaches in Kannada and English.
